Medical Doctor

Alpro Clinic is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our growing primary care team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver comprehensive, preventive, and community-oriented healthcare while supporting Alpro Clinic’s mission of promoting long-term wellness and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

– Provide continuous primary and preventive medical care to individual patients and corporate clients
– Manage and monitor chronic medical conditions within a primary care setting
– Conduct thorough patient consultations, including history taking, physical examinations, and clinical counselling
– Advise patients on diagnostic investigations such as blood tests, X-rays, ECGs, and other relevant assessments
– Interpret health screening results and prepare clear, comprehensive medical reports, including referrals when required
– Educate and counsel patients on vaccinations, ensuring recommendations align with medical guidelines and patient needs
– Deliver health education based on screening outcomes, lifestyle risks, and preventive strategies
– Support business development initiatives and community engagement programs organised by Alpro Clinic
– Participate actively in health campaigns, outreach programmes, and medical events, both internally and externally

Job Requirements

– MBBS / MD from a recognised medical institution
– Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; training in preventive medicine is an added advantage
– Prior experience in primary care or preventive medicine is preferred
– Competent in common clinical procedures, including Pap smear, vaccinations, Mantoux test, phlebotomy, and IV cannulation
– Strong communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills
– Demonstrates a high standard of professional ethics, patient safety, and clinical governance
