Pharmacy Assistant

ALTY Hospital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support the efficient daily operations of our hospital pharmacy. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high standards of pharmaceutical care within a patient-centered healthcare environment.

🔹 Position Overview

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the pharmacy department. You will support pharmacists in medication preparation, inventory management, and administrative duties while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and patient safety at all times.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and clerical duties to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
• Assist in medication preparation and dispensing under pharmacist supervision
• Manage stock control, monitor inventory levels, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
• Assist in procurement and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with hospital policies
• Direct medication-related inquiries to the pharmacist appropriately
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality assurance standards

🔹 Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a hospital setting
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (additional languages are an advantage)
• Strong organizational and stock management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Must be willing to be based at Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur
