Job Description
AU Dental is looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Clinic Nurse to join our professional team in delivering high-quality dental care. The ideal candidate will play a key role in assisting dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. Key Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during clinical procedures including examinations, fillings, extractions, and surgeries.
Prepare dental instruments, materials, and trays in accordance with the treatment plan.
Ensure sterilization and disinfection of instruments and treatment rooms as per standard protocols.
Manage patient flow efficiently by preparing patients for treatment and ensuring a smooth clinic schedule.
Record and maintain accurate patient data, clinical notes, and charts.
Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene instructions.
Maintain adequate inventory of clinical supplies and place orders when necessary.
Comply with infection control and safety regulations in all clinical operations.
Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient reminders, and follow-up calls as needed.
Deliver empathetic care and establish a comfortable, reassuring atmosphere for all patients.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in Nursing, Dental Nursing, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
Valid registration with the Malaysian Nursing Board or relevant authority (if applicable).
Prior experience in a dental or medical clinic is preferred.
Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Organized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
