Roles & Responsibilities
• Oversee and optimize patient nutrition plans based on their current medical status and/or nutrition adequacy.
• Conduct dietary consultations for both in-patients and out-patients to guide them towards nutritionally healthy food choices that aid recovery, prevent disease, and promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and nurses, to coordinate medical and nutritional needs.
• Recommend and manage tube and intravenous feedings and dietary supplements.
• Run and manage inventory for nutritional products, e.g., diabetes nutrition milk, kangaroo pump.
• Prepare, update and distribute educational materials, such as leaflets, pamphlets, or brochures for patients during consultations.
• Educate other healthcare professionals in the hospital, such as clinical nurses, on Medical Nutrition Therapy and Dietary protocols to ensure proper therapeutic diet provision to inpatients.
• Liaise with subsidiary departments to monitor and inspect hospital food service for conformance to prescribed diets and standard of palatability and appearance.
• Actively promote dietary services to the public to generate demand, by participating in marketing events, making appearances in mass media, and submitting articles to magazines or newsletters.
Requirements
• Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• At least a year of professional experience as a Dietitian is required.

Shift/Timings
Full-time position, requiring to work Monday to Friday, and occasionally on weekends.
