Job Description
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Medical Affairs Manager to lead and oversee the Medical Affairs Department. This key leadership role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, effective coordination across departments, and high-quality support for consultants, clinicians, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Department Leadership & Operations
Lead and manage the Medical Affairs Department to ensure efficient, compliant, and well-coordinated operations
Drive alignment between medical staff, management, and hospital leadership to support clinical excellence
Coordination & Administration
Plan, coordinate, and organize all Medical Affairs–related meetings, including agendas, logistics, documentation, and timely follow-ups
Prepare, record, and distribute accurate meeting minutes while maintaining proper documentation and regulatory compliance
Policies, SOPs & Performance
Oversee the development, review, implementation, and maintenance of departmental policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Monitor departmental KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve performance and outcomes
Budgeting & Strategic Support
Prepare and recommend annual capital and operational budgets
Identify opportunities for service enhancement and departmental expansion
Medical Staff Engagement
Coordinate and support CME programs, including planning, logistics, and post-event follow-ups
Maintain continuous engagement with Consultants and Heads of Departments (HODs) to ensure smooth collaboration
Follow up with departments and doctors on pending matters to ensure timely closure
Risk, Incident & Complaint Management
Identify, manage, and assist in resolving potential conflicts or issues that may pose clinical or operational risks
Lead the timely investigation, resolution, and closure of complaints and clinical incidents
Governance & Communication
Ensure effective communication, implementation, and enforcement of management directives, policies, and procedures
Act as a key liaison between medical staff and hospital management
Requirements
Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal communication skills
Experience in medical administration, healthcare management, or a related field is preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy under pressure
High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
