MEDICAL OFFICER

Damai Service Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated Medical Officer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

Diagnose and treat patients admitted to the hospital.
Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress closely and adjust treatment interventions as necessary.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment decisions.
Perform various medical procedures, including suturing wounds, administering injections, and managing IV lines.
Provide compassionate counseling and education to patients and their families regarding their health conditions and available treatment options.
Emergency Care:

Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the hospital, including code blue situations.
Stabilize and manage patients in critical condition, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
Conduct initial assessments and provide necessary treatment for patients in the emergency department.
Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients under your care.
Document patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and hospital policies to uphold patient safety and quality of care.
On-call Responsibilities:

Be available to respond to urgent medical issues and emergencies as needed, participating in an on-call rotation schedule.
