Job Description
Job Responsiblities:
To prepare teaching materials such as teeth models for undergraduate and postgraduate training.
To guide the students to fabricate dental prosthesis such as dentures, special tray, removable orthodontic appliance, etc.
To ensure students complete their lab skill projects according to their programme timetable.
To receive and register the written orders from the clinics and students.
To fabricate, modify and repair devices for dental treatment, replacement and protection, including full and partial dentures, provisional prostheses, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, orthodontic appliances, implant supported prostheses and any other form of prostheses as prescribed by dentists and students.
To ensure dental prosthesis and appliances are fabricated according to standard procedure and completed within standard turnaround time.
To upkeep the equipment and instruments and ensure all are well maintained.
To ensure work bench is clean and tidy at all times.
To ensure sufficient stock of materials and consumables for students’ projects and lab cases from clinics.
Strictly adhere to health and safety policies and procedures when performing daily tasks in the lab.
To support university, school and departmental events such as CSR, CPD workshops, etc.
To perform administrative functions for Ceramic and Acrylic lab.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of a Diploma in Dental Technology or an equivalent relevant professional certification.
At least 3 years work experience in dental laboratory with supervisory knowledge and skill.
Able to work independently.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 – RM5,000.00 per month
