Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
– Contribute in daily management and quality improvement in CSSC
– Ensure compliance of the Guidelines on Management of CSSC and Quality Objectives of Skills Centre.
– Ensure good relationship between IMU and the clinics/hospital and other public organizations
– Manage equipment and models inventory and stock including monitoring usage of teaching materials / disposables and procurement of new items.
– Control, clean and purchase inventory.
– Ensure medical models and manikins are ready for learning purposes.
– Teaching all students according to the curriculum.
– Organize the running of the clinical skill procedures and self directed learning
– Co-ordinate the smooth running of the programs
– Prepare physical set-up for teaching sessions in CSSC and assist lectures when needed
– Review procedure manuals for clinical skill teaching.
– Organise and contribute in running simulation sessions
– Ensure smooth running of the communication skills video recording
– Conduct Direct Observation of Procedural Skills (DOPS).
– Preparation of the physical set-up and ensure smooth running of OSCE for all programs
– Prepare and conduct workshops and other events in CSSC
– Participate in the recruitment and training of simulated patients.
– Supervision and teaching students posted to community clinics (Outpatient department and Maternal & Child health clinics), hospital and patients home visit situated in Klang Valley and Negeri Sembilan
– Perform other duties as and when directed by Director / Assistant. Director of CSSC.
Job Requirement:
– Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Nursing)
– Must have post basic midwivery
– Minimum 5 working year experience
– Work shift duty during extended evening teaching hours from Monday to Friday.
– Work during the weekend when need arises like Open Day, Convocations, Seminars, training workshop etc.
– Good communication skills and able to work in a multicultural environment.
– Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
