Job Description
International SOS upholds the highest standards of Clinical Governance across all global Medical Services operations. As an Onshore Doctor at our Sebatik site, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality emergency and primary care while ensuring full compliance with International SOS clinical policies, protocols, and governance frameworks. You will support patient safety, drive continuous quality improvement, and uphold excellent clinical standards as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive emergency and primary healthcare at remote site in accordance with PKA.SOS and International SOS protocols.
Coordinate clinical and administrative tasks aligned with established Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure strict compliance with Clinical Governance requirements, including safety standards, reporting processes, audits, incident management, and competency assessments.
Maintain high professional ethics, empathetic patient interaction, and strong customer service standards.
Operate and manage all medical equipment within observation, resuscitation, and examination rooms.
Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure seamless medical service delivery.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and recognized clinical or public health license.
Strong clinical experience in General Practice and Emergency Medicine.
Knowledge of primary care, internal medicine, general surgery, and travel-related immunization protocols.
Ability to manage emergency cases, including trauma and infectious diseases.
Excellent communication skills with a professional, confident, and patient-focused demeanor.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic computer operations.
Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and ability to maintain high-quality clinical standards.

Advanced emergency skills (CPR, ventilator use).
Strong commitment to punctuality, service quality, teamwork, and patient safety.
Ability to perform effectively in a remote site environment.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in Emergency Care and/or Intensive Care (preferred).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine & Surgery or equivalent.
Registered nurse, paramedic, or related health qualification (additional advantage).
Current certifications preferred: BLS, ACLS, ITLS, BOSIET, H2S, HACCP, TENORM, and others required by contract scope.
Language Requirements
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Travel & Rotation
Travel to/from site will be arranged by PKA.SOS or International SOS.
Rotational work schedule applies.
Contract Details
Job Type: Contract (12 months)
Pay: RM 8,000 – RM 10,000 per month
