Key Responsibilities
Perform routine Quality Assurance (QA) checks in accordance with the department’s QA protocols and schedule.
Ensure accurate and organized filing of patient records, forms, delivery orders, and other essential documents related to Radiotherapy services.
Maintain optimal floor stock levels required to support daily Radiotherapy operations.
Provide thorough patient education and explanation regarding the CT Simulation (CT Sim) and Radiotherapy (RT) processes.
Manage and coordinate patient appointments for CT Sim and RT sessions efficiently.
Conduct CT Simulation procedures with precision, ensuring compliance with the Oncologist’s treatment plan and positioning protocols.
Administer Radiotherapy treatments while closely monitoring patient responses to ensure safe and effective delivery.
Facilitate and coordinate Oncologist reviews for patients undergoing RT.
Observe patients throughout the treatment period and promptly report any severe or unexpected reactions to the Oncologist.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily statistics related to CT Sim and RT activities.
Support the implementation and continuous evaluation of Person-Centered Care (PCC) practices within the department.
Focus on patient comfort and individual needs, tailoring services to enhance their overall experience.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, addressing physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in Radiation Therapy and PCC.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient care interventions and communication among healthcare team members.
Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all patient interactions.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and service delivery.
Contribute to hospital-wide safety and performance enhancement efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the superior to support the department’s functions and goals.
Requirements
Diploma in Radiotherapy or Bachelor’s Degree in Diagnostic Imaging and Radiation Therapy (or higher).
Fresh graduates with relevant clinical attachments and solid academic performance are welcome to apply.
Proficient in the principles and techniques of Radiation Therapy.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
Demonstrates professionalism: polite, dependable, conscientious, and a strong team player.
Able to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
