Key Responsibilities and Clinical Leadership:
The Medical Officer will assume comprehensive responsibility for clinical care and practice management, including:
Clinical Governance: Deliver superior primary care, adhering strictly to established medical standards and clinic Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Disease Management: Perform comprehensive health examinations, manage a diverse range of acute and chronic medical conditions, and ensure diligent patient follow-up.
Emergency Preparedness: Efficiently manage basic emergency cases within the clinic setting. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a distinct advantage.
Procedural Expertise: Competently execute essential clinical procedures, including nebuliser treatments, wound care, suturing, Incision & Drainage (I&D), ECG interpretation, and vaccination protocols.
Administrative Compliance: Authorize official medical documentation, including medical reports, Medical Certificates (MCs), FOMEMA examinations, and corporate health screenings.
Operational Oversight: Actively monitor clinical operations, foster strong collaboration with nursing and administrative staff, and drive continuous improvement in service quality and patient satisfaction.
Candidate Profile and Requirements:
We are looking for a professional who demonstrates clinical expertise and a patient-centric approach:
Qualification: Possess a medical degree (MBBS / MD / equivalent) recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Licensure (Mandatory): Must hold a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in General Practice/Primary Care is an asset. Recently completed Houseman Officers ready for MO-ship are strongly encouraged to apply.
Core Competencies: Exceptional communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and a patient-oriented mindset are essential.
Operational Readiness: Ability to reliably commit to a shifting schedule, including weekends, and work effectively and independently within a busy clinic environment.
