Job Description
Medcare Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced and dedicated General Practitioner to join our expanding clinical team in Johor Bahru. Role Overview
As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary medical care to a diverse patient population. You will play a key role in disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient management while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive medical examinations and clinical assessments to diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering appropriate diagnostic investigations
Provide continuous care and monitoring for patients with chronic medical conditions
Promote preventive healthcare and educate patients on healthy lifestyle practices and disease prevention
Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records in accordance with clinical governance, regulatory requirements, and clinic policies
Qualifications & Experience
Recognized Medical Degree with current registration as a General Practitioner in Malaysia
Possession of a valid LCP licence will be an added advantage
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a General Practitioner
Strong clinical competencies with sound knowledge of evidence-based medical practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
A compassionate, ethical, and patient-centred approach to healthcare delivery
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
