PERMANENT RESIDENT DOCTOR (PIC)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities 🩺
Provide medical consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in accordance with established clinical guidelines.
Perform basic medical procedures such as wound care, suturing, minor surgical procedures, and emergency management when required.
Prescribe medications and treatment plans based on patient assessment and medical history.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients.
Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care when necessary.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and clinic policies.
Supervise and guide clinic assistants or other support staff during patient care.
Assist in health screening programs, vaccination services, and preventive healthcare initiatives.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards within the clinic.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate treatment.
Requirements 📋
MBBS / MD or equivalent medical qualification.
Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (preferred).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required.
