Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Clinic Assistant to support daily clinical and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring smooth workflow within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Registration & Reception
Welcome and assist patients in a professional and courteous manner
Register patients and collect accurate demographic and insurance details
Manage front desk operations and patient flow efficiently
Appointment Management
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
Provide timely reminders via calls or messages
Handle appointment changes, cancellations, and rescheduling
Clinical Support
Assist doctors during consultations and procedures
Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
Perform basic clinical tasks such as vital signs monitoring, blood pressure checks, and glucose testing
Administer injections if trained and authorized
Medical Records Management
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records (electronic or manual)
Ensure proper documentation and filing of medical records
Billing & Payment Handling
Process patient billing and payments
Assist with insurance verification and claims
Guide patients on billing procedures and payment options
Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels of medical and office supplies
Coordinate procurement and ensure timely replenishment
Organize and maintain inventory records
Patient Support & Education
Provide basic information on clinic services and procedures
Guide patients on medication usage, follow-ups, and appointments
Address patient inquiries or direct them appropriately
Clinic Maintenance
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all clinic areas
Ensure proper disposal of medical waste
Report maintenance issues promptly
Communication & Coordination
Collaborate effectively with doctors, staff, and patients
Assist with referrals and coordination with external healthcare providers
Support health awareness programs and outreach initiatives
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Adhere to clinic policies and healthcare regulations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Promote a safe, respectful, and patient-focused environment
Job Details
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time
Salary: RM2,500 – RM5,000 per month
Work Location: On-site

Education: STM/STPM (preferred)
Experience: Minimum 1 year as Clinic Assistant (preferred)
