Job Description

Permai Polyclinics is seeking a dedicated and competent Medical Officer to deliver high-quality clinical care across its branches. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patient conditions, ensuring safe and effective treatment, and upholding the highest standards of medical practice. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Medical Officer will contribute to exceptional patient experience and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for patients across all age groups.

Prescribe appropriate medications and develop individualized treatment plans.

Conduct physical examinations and continuously monitor patient progress.

Deliver prompt and effective emergency care when required.

Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient medical records.

Educate patients on health conditions, treatment compliance, and preventive healthcare practices.

Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and seamless patient care.

Undertake on-call, after-hours, overnight, and weekend duties as scheduled.

Serve as the Person in Charge (PIC) at designated Permai Polyclinics branches under RHOMED SDN. BHD.

Adhere to all clinical guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).

Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).

Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.

Open only to Malaysian citizens.

Strong diagnostic, clinical judgment, and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Ability to perform well in fast-paced, high-volume clinical environments.

Familiarity with medical software/electronic medical records is an advantage.

Willingness to undertake overnight duties, weekends, and extended working hours.

Perks & Benefits

Contract Duration: 3 years

Salary: RM 9,000 per month

Working Hours: 60 hours per week (6 days/week, 10 hours/shift)

Leave: Annual Leave + Public Holidays (RPH)

Coverage: EPF, SOCSO

Incentives: Performance incentives for surgical procedures
