Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Officer to join Permai Polyclinics, Semporna. This role involves delivering comprehensive primary healthcare services in a modern, well-equipped clinical setting, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care for the community.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and patient examinations
Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
Develop and implement effective treatment and care plans
Provide patient counselling and health education
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Ensure compliance with medical standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent qualification
Registered Medical Practitioner with valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
Completion of housemanship and compulsory service
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
