Job Description

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our medical team in delivering superior diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care. The Radiologist will play a key role in clinical interpretation, image-guided interventions, and quality assurance to support patient treatment and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Imaging & Reporting

Interpret a wide range of imaging studies including X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.

Provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive radiological reports.

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and clinical management.

Interventional & Image-Guided Procedures

Perform and supervise procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and targeted injections.

Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and patient safety protocols during all procedures.

Quality & Clinical Governance

Comply with radiation safety standards and hospital policies.

Participate in peer reviews, case discussions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Provide professional guidance to radiographers, sonographers, and junior medical staff.

Education & Training

Deliver teaching and mentorship to trainees and clinical support staff.

Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.

Administrative & Ethical Compliance

Maintain accurate documentation with strict patient confidentiality.

Assist in departmental planning, workflow enhancement, and service improvement.

Adhere to all regulatory and ethical requirements set by MMC and MOH.

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS/MD from an accredited institution.

Postgraduate Radiology qualification (Master of Radiology / FRCR / equivalent).

Full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid APC.

Minimum 3–5 years of radiology experience preferred.

Strong diagnostic acumen and the ability to manage emergency/on-call imaging cases.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.

Commitment to radiation safety and high clinical standards.

Willingness to work weekends or after-hours as required.
