Staff Nurse
Job Description
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and clinical support within our healthcare facility. The role requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and dedication to ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. Senior/Lead Nurses will additionally support supervision and team leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
Deliver holistic nursing care to support patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
Administer medications, carry out nursing procedures, and closely monitor patient progress in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient documentation.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and ethical practices consistently.
Clinical Coordination
Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and clinical procedures.
Prepare and maintain medical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Leadership & Training (For Senior / Lead Nurse Positions)
Guide, supervise, and support junior nurses and healthcare assistants.
Conduct mentoring, competency assessments, and on-the-job development.
Promote adherence to hospital policies and nursing best practices.
Administration & Quality Standards
Participate in audits, meetings, and quality improvement programs.
Maintain proper ward documentation and assist with daily operations.
Monitor and manage inventory of medical supplies to ensure readiness.
Emergency Response
Respond promptly to emergency situations and support life-saving interventions.
Ensure emergency equipment is available and functioning at all times.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Registered with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia and holds a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience required.
(Senior Nurse / Lead Nurse: ≥5 years preferred)
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
(Mandarin/Tamil proficiency is an advantage)
Strong teamwork, accountability, and patient-focused attitude.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
