Klinik Menara Penang is seeking a highly competent and dedicated Resident Medical Officer to join our clinical team. Role Overview
The Resident Medical Officer is responsible for providing high-quality medical consultations, clinical procedures, and continuity of care. This position requires strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical consultations, including interpretation of health screening reports and diagnostic test results
Perform a wide range of general practice medical procedures, including:
Blood taking and phlebotomy
IV cannulation and administration of IM/IV medications
Dressing and wound management
Basic resuscitation procedures
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current medical developments, guidelines, and best practices
Participate in shift duties, including weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis
Travel within the state as required for work-related duties
Maintain effective teamwork and professional collaboration with medical colleagues and clinic staff

Ability to deliver health talks and patient education sessions
Experience leading medical teams for on-site clinical services
Possession of GP-related training, postgraduate qualifications, or additional medical credentials
Ability to perform elective procedures, such as:
Intra-articular injections
Advanced wound care
IUCD insertion and removal
Minor procedures related to primary care

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Medicine (MBBS/MD or equivalent)
Minimum 4 years of relevant clinical experience
Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
Possession of a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
Completion of compulsory government service
Recognized as a Fully Registered Medical Practitioner in Malaysia

Basic salary ranging from RM 8,000 to RM 15,000
