Resident Medical Officer

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a medical degree MBBS or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Positive attitude and passionate about collaborative teamwork, excelling at interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in performing antenatal ultrasound.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of navigating unexpected situations or conditions.
• Flexible working hours and days.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generalist medical practitioners, including family and primary care doctors, diagnose, treat, and prevent illness, disease, injury, and other physical and mental impairments while maintaining general health in humans using modern medical principles and procedures.
• Conduct physical examinations of patients and interview them and their families to assess their health status.
• Perform antenatal ultrasound.
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures, and analyze findings to determine the nature of disorders or illnesses.
• Provide ongoing medical care to patients, including prescribing, administering, counseling on, and monitoring curative treatments and preventive measures.
• Perform minor surgery and other clinical procedures.
• Advise individuals, families, and communities on health, nutrition, and lifestyle choices that aid in the prevention or treatment of diseases and disorders.
• Participate in programs designed to prevent the occurrence and spread of common diseases.
