Job Title: General Dentist – Comprehensive Dental Care Opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, curative, and maintenance functions of general dentistry.
• Utilize diagnostic tools such as X-rays to examine teeth and diagnose patients’ dental conditions.
• Conduct a wide range of dental treatments including periodontal therapy, endodontic therapy, restorative procedures (crowns, bridges, dental restorations), prosthodontic procedures (crown/bridge, dentures), oral surgery (extraction of teeth), teeth whitening, and dental prophylaxis.
• Assess treatment options and collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Execute agreed clinical treatments, including restoring decayed teeth and treating gum disease.
• Maintain accurate dental records and perform necessary office-based activities.
• Administer local anesthesia and pre-medication to minimize patient discomfort during procedures.
• Prescribe medications such as painkillers and antibiotics as needed after dental treatments.
• Document essential dental billing information, including examinations, treatments, and abnormalities.
• Train dental assistants and coordinate clinic operations.
• Take responsibility for clinical competence and actively pursue professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dental or equivalent.
• Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
• Strong knowledge and experience in performing a wide range of general dentistry procedures.
• Proficiency in administering local anesthesia and prescribing medications.
• Excellent record-keeping skills and familiarity with dental billing processes.
• Ability to provide training to dental assistants and effectively coordinate clinic operations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining clinical competence.
