Emergency Physician
Job Description
The ER Physician will assist the Senior ER Physician and Head of Emergency Services to:
Manage the daily operations of the Emergency Room.
Supervise the medical activities of the Emergency Room and ensures that medical protocols are complied with in accordance to hospital policies.
Supervise ER Doctors, Nursing and Front-Line Services staff to ensure smooth operation of the Emergency Room.
Supervise Health Screening Centre (HSC) Doctors as well as the Inpatient Medical Officer (IPMO).
Plan and manage the department budget as well as the resource utilisation of the services.
Oversee the Mortuary Services.
Participate in rendering acute medical care to patients seeking treatment at the Emergency Room.
Plan and conduct emergency drills as per requirement.
Participate in health talks to corporate clients and public forums as required.
Participates in all life supports (BLS & ACLS) training, to both public and corporate clients as well as staff, medical specialists and GP’s.
Supervise and train ER Staff (ER doctors, nurses, concierge, front-line staff) attached to the ER as well as the HSC doctors.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Candidate must possess Postgraduate Degree in Emergency Medicine.
Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate to practice in Malaysia.
Possess a personal Medical Indemnity Scheme Insurance which is renewed annually.
Possess certificate for BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP. These should be renewed every 2 years.
Minimum 3 year(s) post graduate experience as an ER Physician.
Proficient with emergency procedures as per priviliges granted by the Hospital Credentialling & Qualification Committee.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Applicants must be willing to work fulltime in Subang Jaya and work on shift.
