Key Job Responsibilities
Respond to Emergency Codes: Act as the primary medical responder during emergency situations such as Code Blue until a specialist or primary physician takes over.
Deliver Urgent Medical Care: When required, provide urgent care to patients in the wards ensuring adherence to the Hospital’s established guidelines, policies and procedures.
Assist Medical Specialists: Collaborate with Medical Specialists in the immediate treatment and management of patients, ensuring the best care is provided.
Perform Minor Procedures: Skillfully perform procedures such as phlebotomy, intravenous lines insertion, catheterization, toilet and suturing for inpatients as needed.
Follow Rostered Duties: Adhere to a prepared schedule, including fulfilling night shift duties as required.
Stay updated: Take charge of your own Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Job Requirements
Possess a Medical Degree and registered with MMA.
Experience in Anaesthesia and Critical Care areas is an advantage.
Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
Possess a personal Medical Indemnity Scheme insurance.
Valid certificates for BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP will be an advantage.
Minimum of three (3) years working experience.
Possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
