Pharmacy Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy operations by ensuring accurate medication dispensing, maintaining inventory, and assisting in patient education. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in reviewing drug orders and communicate with prescribers when necessary.
Accurately fill, check, and dispense medications in a timely manner.
Provide clear instructions to patients and nursing staff regarding medication usage.
Prepare extemporaneous and sterile medications using aseptic techniques.
Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Replenish and maintain pharmacy inventory while ensuring system accuracy.
Adhere to medication safety protocols to ensure accuracy in prescription processing.
Contribute to the smooth operation of pharmacy activities and daily tasks.
Requirements:

Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
Registered as a Pharmacy Assistant with the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team and in shifts.
Proactive, with a strong sense of initiative.
Basic computer literacy.
