Job Description
Key Job Responsibilities
•Conducting non-invasive procedures such as ECG, Stress ECG, Holter & ABPM monitoring / analysis, Tilt-Table Test, Echocardiogram, Stress Echocardiogram, Stress Dobutamine, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Pacemaker checking, Pulmonary Function Testing, and other related procedures.
•To support the Cath lab teams during invasive procedures done in the catheterization laboratory such as angiography, angioplasty, temporary or permanent pacemaker implantation procedures.
•Assist Senior Technologist & Chief Technologist in supervising daily operation of department and provides technical support to other technical staff.
•Maintains professional code of conduct in doing diagnostic procedures, reporting the results, and dispensing technical information.
•Assist in ensuring that all daily and preventive maintenance has been performed accordingly.
•Assist in ensuring there is adequate staff and supply to perform the procedure in an accurate and timely manner.
•Assist the department to achieve Hospital and Departmental goals and objectives.
•Preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and addressing any concerns they may have.
•Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of test results, and promptly reporting any abnormalities to the supervising physician.
•Collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to ensure efficient patient care and accurate interpretation of test results.
•Maintaining patient records, including test results, medical history, and other relevant information, in compliance with healthcare regulations and clinic policies.
Job Requirements
•Diploma or Degree in cardiovascular technologist, health sciences, medical laboratory technologist or relevant science of related fields of study.
•Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience in non-invasive and invasive cardiac lab or related cardiac experience.
•Ability to perform Diagnostic procedures such as ECG, Stress ECG, Holter, Tilt-Table Test, Echocardiogram, Stress Echocardiogram, Stress Dobutamine, Transesophageal Echocardiogram, Pacemaker checking, Cardiac Catheterization and others interventional procedures is an advantage (on job training will be provided, fresh graduates are welcomed).
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
•Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
•Computer literate.
•Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care.
•Able to work extended hours or on-call.
