We are seeking a highly competent and compassionate medical professional to deliver excellent emergency and primary healthcare services while upholding the highest standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and professional ethics.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Functions
Perform accurate primary and secondary assessments (triage) and provide immediate management for emergency cases.
Monitor, document, and manage vital signs, initiating resuscitation promptly based on patient priority.
Deliver timely clinical interventions and ensure appropriate ongoing patient management.
Maintain strong situational awareness and escalate cases to the relevant consultant when required.
Communicate effectively with consultants during referrals and ensure thorough handovers to the next shift team.
Adhere strictly to hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality patient care.
Administrative & Professional Functions
Ensure all clinical practices and technical procedures comply with hospital policies and SOPs.
Participate in continuous medical education, training sessions, and professional development activities to stay updated on emerging diseases and best practices.
Support hospital initiatives such as health talks, community medical check-ups, and blood donation campaigns (on-site and off-site).
Contribute to accreditation, compliance, and regulatory processes within the organization.
Participate in the development, review, and evaluation of clinical protocols in alignment with legal and organizational guidelines (SunMed Policies).
Job Requirements
Medical Degree with valid registration under the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Accident & Emergency (A&E) and Primary Health Care.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
