Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Technologist (CVT) to perform a wide range of cardiovascular diagnostic tests and procedures. The role demands precision, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cardiologists and healthcare teams to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and assist with non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular tests, including echocardiograms, ECGs, and stress tests.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and positioning them for accurate results.
Operate and maintain specialized cardiovascular equipment, ensuring calibration and accuracy.
Collect, analyze, and document diagnostic data, preparing detailed reports for cardiologist review.
Assist cardiologists during procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasties, and pacemaker insertions.
Monitor patients’ vital signs during diagnostic tests and respond promptly to any abnormalities.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Assistance, Biomedical Sciences, or Nursing.
Certified Graduate Certificate in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Sciences.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in primary healthcare (experience in hospital/clinical settings preferred).
Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient-centered approach.
