Job Description
Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiation Therapist to join our dynamic oncology team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatment and patient care in accordance with Consultant-prescribed plans.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate CT simulation appointments and collaborate with Radiology staff to ensure procedures align with Consultant protocols.
Manage daily Radiotherapy treatment schedules, including Consultant reviews and patient sessions.
Administer radiation treatments safely and accurately according to the prescribed dosage and approved treatment plans.
Operate radiation therapy equipment and ensure accurate patient positioning and setup.
Educate patients about the treatment process and effectively communicate Consultant instructions.
Support additional duties and participate in ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; candidates with at least 2 years of experience in Radiotherapy will have an advantage.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Comfortable working across multiple departments and staff levels.
Willingness to be flexible and deployed when necessary.
