Radiologist

We are looking for passionate and patient-oriented Radiologists to join our team, as a Radiologist your duties will include:

1. Obtain patients’ histories from clinical information system, patient interviews, dictation of reports, or to communicate with referring clinicians regarding diagnostic findings.
2. Evaluate medical information to determine patients’ risk factor and to make decisions regarding the
appropriateness of procedures.
3. Evaluate the image quality (Plain X-rays and mammograms) that are performed and prepare comprehensive interpretive reports of findings.
4. Performing and reporting of ultrasound examinations and certain image guided biopsies (eg: Ultrasound guided FNAC/ aspiration).
5. To ensure that all imaging examination that has been performed is reported within the time frame specified.
6. Communicate examination results or diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients or families.
7. Instruct radiology staff in desired techniques, positions or projections to obtain satisfactory image quality.
8. Ensure that all medical diagnostic examinations are performed within the radiation safety margin and abiding by ALARA principal.
9. Serve as an offsite tele-radiologist for facilities that do not have on-site radiologist.
10. Attending CMEs and Workshops complying with requirements of Ministry of Health (MOH).
11. Consulting imaging findings and counselling patients.
12. Resolving disputes and complaints pertaining to Imaging services (if any).
