Clinic Assistant

The Clinical Assistant provides administrative, clinical, and operational support to ensure efficient patient care services within the medical center. This role involves managing patient appointments and records, assisting in diagnostic procedures, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting healthcare professionals during clinical operations and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Management:

Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and billing using the clinic’s information system.

Clinical Support:

Perform assigned diagnostic procedures and process procedure requests through the clinical information system.

Provide health education and guidance to patients when appropriate.

Emergency Response:

Assist the medical team in clinical emergencies, both medical and non-medical in nature.

Medical Reporting:

Prepare and compile accurate medical reports for check-up and assessment purposes.

Ensure all related documentation is properly recorded and filed.

Communication & Reporting:

Immediately report any life-threatening abnormalities to the attending physician.

Ensure all required company forms are provided to and completed by patients as proof of clinic visit.

Equipment & Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain clinical equipment in good working condition.

Manage medical and office supply inventory, including restocking and placing orders as required.

Data Privacy & Documentation:

Ensure patient information is handled with strict confidentiality in compliance with data protection policies.

Dispatch medical reports to companies via courier, registered mail, or direct handover.

Cash Handling:

Manage daily cash handling and prepare for banking on the next working day.

Training & Development:

Participate in internal and external training sessions as assigned by management to support professional growth.

General Duties:

Perform additional administrative or operational tasks as delegated by the management.

This role is vital in ensuring a seamless patient experience and efficient clinic operations. The Clinical Assistant works closely with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff to uphold the standards of quality care and service at Twin Towers Medical Center.
