Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide safe, evidence-based medical consultation, diagnosis, & treatment for outpatients.
2. Manage acute & chronic conditions commonly encountered in primary care.
3. Perform routine clinical procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines & clinic protocols.
4. Deliver clear patient education, counselling, & preventive healthcare advice.
5. Ensure proper documentation of clinical notes, diagnoses, & treatment plans.
6. Conduct appropriate follow-ups to ensure continuity & quality of patient care.
7. Participate in clinic initiatives, including health campaigns, patient outreach, and service promotion, in an ethical & professional manner.
8. Work collaboratively with medical assistants, nurses, & administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
9. Comply with all regulatory, professional, and internal clinical governance requirements.
Clinical Skills (Required / Advantage)
1. Competent in common procedures such as:
* Wound dressing
* T&S
* Incision and drainage (I&D)
* Pap smear
* Transcutaneous serum bilirubin (TSB) for infants
2. Experience in managing paediatric and emergency cases.
3. Ability to perform ultrasound scans.
