We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Radiographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the radiology department, supervising a team of radiographers and ensuring the efficient delivery of diagnostic imaging services. The Senior Radiographer will work closely with our team of medical professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis, treatment planning and timely patient care.<\/p>\n
JOB DESCIPTIONS:<\/p>\n
Adjust diagnostic equipment to deliver accurate amount of radiation to patients
\nOperate complex medical instruments such as MRIs, CT scanners, X-ray, ultrasound, and several other imaging devices
\nDirect and supervise the activities of radiography assistants and trainee radiographers
\nMaintain proper records of patient details ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
\nFollow up on patients after treatment to track the progress of recovery and ensure patients show no signs of radiation side effect
\nExplain to patients and their family the details of a procedure and ways to manage possible side effects
\nRegularly inspect diagnostic equipment to ensure they are functional and operate efficiently
\nAssist Radiologist during complex radiological examinations
\nEnsure compliance with health and safety guidelines to minimize risk of exposure to ionizing radiation
\nCorrectly position patients prior to X-ray imaging in order to obtain high quality films<\/p>\n
JOB REQUIREMENTS;<\/p>\n
Have diploma\/degree in Radiography
\nAt least 3 years of experiences in hospital setting
\nProficient in operating computerized machines such as MRIs and Ultrasound equipment
