Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Promote and restore patients’ health through the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
\nProvide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.
\nDeliver high-quality care from patient admission to discharge.
\nPrepare patients for procedures and manage post-procedure care, including surgical recovery.
\nSet up and monitor medical equipment such as patient monitors, oxygen devices, and cannulation.
\nAssess and evaluate vital signs, laboratory data, and fluid balance, implementing emergency interventions as needed.
\nMonitor and respond to changes in patient condition, including signs of sepsis or shock.
\nAssess and manage pain levels, including administration of prescribed medications.
\nPerform nursing procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
\nAssist physicians during procedures and support patients in daily activities.
\nMaintain accurate and up-to-date nursing documentation.
\nEnsure proper billing for disposable items and equipment used.
\nCommunicate effectively with clinical and support teams to follow clinical pathways.
\nSpecialized Roles:<\/p>\n
Team Leader Nurse:<\/p>\n
Manage the clinical team during shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care and task completion.
\nAssign team members based on workload and ensure timely execution of procedures and reporting.
\nOversee Emergency Trolley and Drug Administration Inventory (DDA) checks.
\nCoordinate with other healthcare providers (dietitians, physiotherapists) and service providers.
\nProvide shift reports to the Head Nurse, including patient progress, staffing issues, and inventory status.
\nCubicle Nurse:<\/p>\n
Execute patient procedures as scheduled and update the Team Leader on progress.
\nMedication Nurse:<\/p>\n
Prepare, administer, and document medications following SOP.
\nManage medication inventory and handle discharge medication returns to the pharmacy.
\nQualifications:<\/p>\n
Registered Nurse with valid credentials.
\nStrong clinical and technical skills in patient care and medical equipment.
\nEffective communication and collaboration abilities.
