Job Responsiblities:<\/p>\n
To prepare teaching materials such as teeth models for undergraduate and postgraduate training.
\nTo guide the students to fabricate dental prosthesis such as dentures, special tray, removable orthodontic appliance, etc.
\nTo ensure students complete their lab skill projects according to their programme timetable.
\nTo receive and register the written orders from the clinics and students.
\nTo fabricate, modify and repair devices for dental treatment, replacement and protection, including full and partial dentures, provisional prostheses, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, orthodontic appliances, implant supported prostheses and any other form of prostheses as prescribed by dentists and students.
\nTo ensure dental prosthesis and appliances are fabricated according to standard procedure and completed within standard turnaround time.
\nTo upkeep the equipment and instruments and ensure all are well maintained.
\nTo ensure work bench is clean and tidy at all times.
\nTo ensure sufficient stock of materials and consumables for students\u2019 projects and lab cases from clinics.
\nStrictly adhere to health and safety policies and procedures when performing daily tasks in the lab.
\nTo support university, school and departmental events such as CSR, CPD workshops, etc.
\nTo perform administrative functions for Ceramic and Acrylic lab.
\nJob Requirements:<\/p>\n
A minimum of a Diploma in Dental Technology or an equivalent relevant professional certification.
\nAt least 3 years work experience in dental laboratory with supervisory knowledge and skill.
\nAble to work independently.
\nGood written and verbal communication skills in English.
