Assunta Hospital is looking for a Physiotherapist. The Physiotherapist is responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy treatment and management to all patients, regardless of race, color, or beliefs. This role involves evidence-based interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrophysical therapy, to optimize patients’ functional abilities and overall well-being.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nGeneral Patient Management
\nConduct comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and patient education.<\/p>\n
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.<\/p>\n
Recommend and provide appropriate rehabilitation equipment to patients when necessary.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and team members to ensure effective patient management.<\/p>\n
Ensure smooth case handovers to the next team at the end of each shift.<\/p>\n
Maintain up-to-date patient statistics and reports.<\/p>\n
Perform scheduled on-call and relief duties as required.<\/p>\n
Adhere to professional standards of physiotherapy practice and ethical guidelines.<\/p>\n
Outpatient Services
\nManage and treat outpatient cases effectively.<\/p>\n
Inform the administration staff of appropriate patient charges following treatment.<\/p>\n
Conduct group exercise sessions as needed.<\/p>\n
Inpatient Services
\nProvide physiotherapy management for inpatients.<\/p>\n
Accurately record and process treatment charges after each session.<\/p>\n
Maintain daily records in the Inpatient Record File.<\/p>\n
Track and document doctors\u2019 revenue from inpatient physiotherapy referrals.<\/p>\n
Leadership & Management
\nComply with departmental policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
Participate in departmental and hospital-wide meetings and projects.<\/p>\n
Serve as a secretary in meetings when required.<\/p>\n
Contribute to hospital quality improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n
Safety & Professional Standards
\nEducate caregivers and staff on safe patient handling practices.<\/p>\n
Be familiar with and adhere to safety and emergency protocols within the department and hospital.<\/p>\n
Report any incidents involving patients, caregivers, or staff to the Rehabilitation Manager.<\/p>\n
Ensure proper and safe use of physiotherapy equipment in accordance with best practices.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements
\nEducation & Certification:
\nDiploma or Degree in Physiotherapy.<\/p>\n
Skills & Experience:
\nStrong clinical knowledge and skills in basic physiotherapy, including acute care management.<\/p>\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n
Ability to train and guide technicians and aides.<\/p>\n
No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n

Compensation & Work Schedule
