Key Responsibilities
\n1. Clinical Care & Treatment Delivery
\nConduct thorough oral examinations and deliver accurate diagnoses.<\/p>\n
Perform a comprehensive range of dental procedures, including:<\/p>\n
Restorative: Fillings, crowns, and bridges<\/p>\n
Endodontic: Root canal treatments<\/p>\n
Periodontic: Scaling, root planing, and gum treatment<\/p>\n
Surgical: Simple and surgical tooth extractions<\/p>\n
Prosthodontic: Dentures and partial dentures<\/p>\n
Cosmetic: Veneers, whitening, and smile enhancements<\/p>\n
Orthodontic: Consultation and basic follow-ups<\/p>\n
Provide prompt emergency dental care, including for trauma or acute pain.<\/p>\n
2. Preventive & Patient Education
\nEducate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care practices.<\/p>\n
Conduct routine check-ups and apply fluoride or sealants as needed.<\/p>\n
3. Case & Treatment Management
\nDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans.<\/p>\n
Monitor progress and adjust treatments accordingly.<\/p>\n
Refer patients for specialist care when necessary.<\/p>\n
4. Patient Experience & Communication
\nFoster patient trust through effective, empathetic communication.<\/p>\n
Address concerns, explain procedures, and ensure a positive dental experience.<\/p>\n
5. Compliance & Record Keeping
\nMaintain accurate and confidential patient records.<\/p>\n
Ensure all treatments comply with clinical protocols and regulatory standards.<\/p>\n
6. Collaboration & Team Engagement
\nCoordinate with dental assistants and clinical staff for seamless care delivery.<\/p>\n
Provide guidance to junior staff and maintain a collaborative work culture.<\/p>\n
7. Continuous Learning & Development
\nStay informed on advancements in dentistry, tools, and techniques.<\/p>\n
Participate in workshops, training, and clinical seminars.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements
\nRegistered Dentist with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).<\/p>\n
Minimum 1 year of experience in general dentistry (2+ years preferred).<\/p>\n
Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and patient-first mindset.<\/p>\n
Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow in a dynamic environment.<\/p>\n
Ability to commute to or relocate to Johor Bahru (relocation preferred).<\/p>\n
Willingness to travel: 50% preferred.<\/p>\n
