We are looking for a committed and skilled Medical Officer to deliver exceptional primary and preventive healthcare services, with a special focus on occupational health and wellness programs. This role involves conducting health screenings, generating accurate medical reports, and ensuring prompt stabilisation and care for patients in urgent situations. You will also represent the hospital in community initiatives and support the growth of our Wellness Program.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct and interpret health screenings, pre-employment checks, and occupational health assessments.<\/p>\n
Generate detailed medical reports, review lab and imaging results, and provide referrals for further investigation.<\/p>\n
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, patient safety protocols, and occupational health standards.<\/p>\n
Respond effectively to patient feedback and incident reports.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.<\/p>\n
Develop SOPs and guidelines to improve departmental efficiency and safety.<\/p>\n
Participate in health talks, vaccination drives, and other public health events.<\/p>\n
Monitor and evaluate performance measures within clinical governance frameworks.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Medical degree recognised by the Malaysian Medical Council with a valid APC.<\/p>\n
Registration as an Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) with DOSH preferred.<\/p>\n
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, ideally in health screening in a tertiary care hospital.<\/p>\n
Strong understanding of occupational health regulations and governance systems.<\/p>\n
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n
