Role Overview:
\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our medical team in delivering superior diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care. The Radiologist will play a key role in clinical interpretation, image-guided interventions, and quality assurance to support patient treatment and recovery.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Diagnostic Imaging & Reporting<\/p>\n
Interpret a wide range of imaging studies including X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.<\/p>\n
Provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive radiological reports.<\/p>\n
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnosis and clinical management.<\/p>\n
Interventional & Image-Guided Procedures<\/p>\n
Perform and supervise procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and targeted injections.<\/p>\n
Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and patient safety protocols during all procedures.<\/p>\n
Quality & Clinical Governance<\/p>\n
Comply with radiation safety standards and hospital policies.<\/p>\n
Participate in peer reviews, case discussions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n
Provide professional guidance to radiographers, sonographers, and junior medical staff.<\/p>\n
Education & Training<\/p>\n
Deliver teaching and mentorship to trainees and clinical support staff.<\/p>\n
Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and professional development activities.<\/p>\n
Administrative & Ethical Compliance<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate documentation with strict patient confidentiality.<\/p>\n
Assist in departmental planning, workflow enhancement, and service improvement.<\/p>\n
Adhere to all regulatory and ethical requirements set by MMC and MOH.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
MBBS\/MD from an accredited institution.<\/p>\n
Postgraduate Radiology qualification (Master of Radiology \/ FRCR \/ equivalent).<\/p>\n
Full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid APC.<\/p>\n
Minimum 3\u20135 years of radiology experience preferred.<\/p>\n
Strong diagnostic acumen and the ability to manage emergency\/on-call imaging cases.<\/p>\n
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.<\/p>\n
Commitment to radiation safety and high clinical standards.<\/p>\n
