Key Responsibilities
\nClinical Functions<\/p>\n
Perform accurate primary and secondary assessments (triage) and provide immediate management for emergency cases.<\/p>\n
Monitor, document, and manage vital signs, initiating resuscitation promptly based on patient priority.<\/p>\n
Deliver timely clinical interventions and ensure appropriate ongoing patient management.<\/p>\n
Maintain strong situational awareness and escalate cases to the relevant consultant when required.<\/p>\n
Communicate effectively with consultants during referrals and ensure thorough handovers to the next shift team.<\/p>\n
Adhere strictly to hospital Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality patient care.<\/p>\n
Administrative & Professional Functions<\/p>\n
Ensure all clinical practices and technical procedures comply with hospital policies and SOPs.<\/p>\n
Participate in continuous medical education, training sessions, and professional development activities to stay updated on emerging diseases and best practices.<\/p>\n
Support hospital initiatives such as health talks, community medical check-ups, and blood donation campaigns (on-site and off-site).<\/p>\n
Contribute to accreditation, compliance, and regulatory processes within the organization.<\/p>\n
Participate in the development, review, and evaluation of clinical protocols in alignment with legal and organizational guidelines (SunMed Policies).<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
Medical Degree with valid registration under the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).<\/p>\n
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Accident & Emergency (A&E) and Primary Health Care.<\/p>\n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.<\/p>\n
