Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our Health Screening Services team. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality preventive healthcare and personalized medical consultations to support early detection and long-term patient wellbeing.<\/p>\n
Job Purpose<\/p>\n
To provide comprehensive medical consultation services for health screening clients, ensuring a professional, accurate, and patient-centred experience throughout the screening process.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Conduct thorough medical consultations for health screening clients, including detailed medical history taking and physical examinations<\/p>\n
Review, analyze, and interpret health screening results accurately and professionally<\/p>\n
Clearly explain health screening packages, procedures, and clinical findings to patients<\/p>\n
Perform basic medical procedures when required<\/p>\n
Identify abnormal findings and make appropriate referrals to specialists or consultants<\/p>\n
Provide personalized medical advice and counselling based on screening outcomes<\/p>\n
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all clinical findings in the Hospital Information System (HIS)<\/p>\n
Maintain high standards of professionalism, patient confidentiality, and service quality<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements<\/p>\n
Recognized Medical Degree from an accredited university<\/p>\n
Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)<\/p>\n
Possess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)<\/p>\n
Minimum 3 years of experience in primary healthcare or preventive medicine will be an advantage<\/p>\n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused approach<\/p>\n
