Alpro Clinic is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Medical Officer to join our growing primary care team. Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
– Provide continuous primary and preventive medical care to individual patients and corporate clients
\n– Manage and monitor chronic medical conditions within a primary care setting
\n– Conduct thorough patient consultations, including history taking, physical examinations, and clinical counselling
\n– Advise patients on diagnostic investigations such as blood tests, X-rays, ECGs, and other relevant assessments
\n– Interpret health screening results and prepare clear, comprehensive medical reports, including referrals when required
\n– Educate and counsel patients on vaccinations, ensuring recommendations align with medical guidelines and patient needs
\n– Deliver health education based on screening outcomes, lifestyle risks, and preventive strategies
\n– Support business development initiatives and community engagement programs organised by Alpro Clinic
\n– Participate actively in health campaigns, outreach programmes, and medical events, both internally and externally<\/p>\n
Job Requirements<\/p>\n
– MBBS \/ MD from a recognised medical institution
\n– Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
\n– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory; training in preventive medicine is an added advantage
\n– Prior experience in primary care or preventive medicine is preferred
\n– Competent in common clinical procedures, including Pap smear, vaccinations, Mantoux test, phlebotomy, and IV cannulation
\n– Strong communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills
\n– Demonstrates a high standard of professional ethics, patient safety, and clinical governance<\/p>\n
