We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring clinical excellence and patient safety. This role involves comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and continuous evaluation in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\n1. Patient Assessment & Monitoring
\nConduct holistic patient assessments, including physiological, psychological, emotional, sociocultural, and spiritual needs
\nGather relevant patient information from multiple sources such as patients, families, and medical records
\nMonitor and document changes in patient health status, particularly those affecting Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
\nMaintain accurate and timely patient records to support continuity of care
\n2. Care Planning
\nDevelop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
\nSet measurable goals and expected outcomes based on patient conditions
\nEstablish evaluation criteria to ensure effectiveness of care plans
\nEnsure all care plans align with clinical protocols and best practices
\n3. Implementation of Nursing Care
\nDeliver patient-centered care based on priority needs and established protocols
\nAssist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including pre- and post-procedure care
\nAdminister medications safely and accurately in accordance with medical prescriptions
\nPromote and maintain patients\u2019 Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including:
\nRespiratory care (e.g., oxygen therapy, positioning)
\nNutritional support (e.g., diet management, IV therapy)
\nRest, sleep, and mobility balance
\nInfection control and patient safety practices
\nPsychological well-being and emotional support
\n4. Patient Safety & Quality Care
\nEnsure a safe and therapeutic environment through adherence to infection control and safety protocols
\nUphold patient dignity, confidentiality, and ethical nursing practices
\nProvide compassionate care that supports patients\u2019 emotional and psychological needs
\nCollaborate effectively with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
\n5. Additional Duties
\nPerform other responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time
\nJob Requirements
\nDiploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution
\nMinimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience (preferred)
\nPossession of a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) and registration (LJM)
\nPost-basic qualification will be an added advantage
\nWillingness to work on rotational shifts
\nBased in or willing to work in Kota Damansara
