The role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and stabilization of acute and critical cases while ensuring timely clinical decision-making and patient safety.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nProvide prompt assessment and management of emergency and acute medical cases
\nPerform resuscitation and stabilization of critically ill patients
\nInitiate appropriate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care
\nCoordinate patient admissions, referrals, and transfers when required
\nMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
\nCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
\nAdhere to hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, and safety standards
\nRequirements
\nMBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
\nRegistered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
\nPossess a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
\nMinimum 3\u20135 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in A&E or emergency care
\nStrong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
\nAbility to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure
