Pantai Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and competent Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our Health Screening Centre (HSC). This role is responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, managing patient flow efficiently, and ensuring optimal clinical outcomes through professional and patient-centered practices.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Clinical & Patient Care<\/p>\n
Provide timely medical attention to patients based on triage prioritization
\nPerform clinical assessments, diagnosis, and appropriate treatment plans
\nCarry out medical procedures and emergency-related interventions with competence
\nEnsure continuity of care for patients within the Health Screening Centre and wards when required<\/p>\n
Operations & Management<\/p>\n
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Health Screening Centre (HSC)
\nEnsure efficient coordination between medical and nursing teams
\nMonitor and maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery<\/p>\n
Collaboration & Communication<\/p>\n
Maintain effective communication with Consultants regarding patient management
\nCommunicate patient conditions clearly and professionally to patients and their families (with consent)
\nWork collaboratively with nursing and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care<\/p>\n
Documentation & Compliance<\/p>\n
Accurately document medical findings, investigations, treatments, and communications
\nMaintain strict confidentiality of patient information and medical records
\nAdhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional ethical standards<\/p>\n
Professional Accountability<\/p>\n
Demonstrate responsibility and accountability for all clinical decisions and actions
\nRecognize personal limitations and seek guidance when necessary
\nEnsure all procedures, including IV infusions, are carried out safely and responsibly
\nQualifications & Requirements
\nBachelor\u2019s Degree in Medicine and\/or Surgery (MBBS or equivalent)
\nPossess a valid and current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
\nStrong clinical knowledge in general medicine, patient assessment, and medical procedures
\nAbility to handle emergency situations confidently and effectively
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
