We are seeking a compassionate, highly skilled, and dedicated Staff Nurse \/ Senior Staff Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities
\nEndoscopy Care & Procedure Support
\nPrepare procedure rooms and ensure all endoscopy equipment and instruments are properly cleaned, sterilized, functional, and ready for use.
\nAssist medical specialists during various endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and other diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.
\nMonitor patients\u2019 vital signs before, during, and after procedures to ensure safety and clinical stability.
\nManage patient recovery following sedation, ensuring proper observation, comfort, and safe discharge processes.
\nAdhere strictly to infection prevention and control protocols, including the proper handling, cleaning, and disinfection of scopes and medical instruments.
\nWard Nursing & Patient Care
\nDeliver comprehensive bedside nursing care, including patient monitoring, medication administration, wound management, and routine nursing assessments.
\nSupport doctors and healthcare teams during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures conducted within the ward.
\nMaintain accurate, timely, and confidential nursing documentation, patient records, and clinical reports to ensure continuity of care.
\nPatient Safety & Multidisciplinary Collaboration
\nWork closely with doctors, allied health professionals, and fellow nursing staff to deliver integrated, patient-centered healthcare services.
\nEnsure compliance with hospital safety regulations, hygiene standards, and infection control practices to maintain a safe clinical environment.
\nProvide emotional support, reassurance, and clear communication to patients and their families, promoting a positive healthcare experience.
\nProfessional Development & Quality Improvement
\nParticipate actively in training programs, continuous professional development (CPD), and competency enhancement activities.
\nContribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving patient care standards, service efficiency, and clinical excellence.
\nStay updated on the latest nursing practices, clinical guidelines, and healthcare innovations.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Requirements
\nRegistered Nurse (RN) with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) issued by the Malaysian Nursing Board.
\nMinimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Endoscopy, Daycare, or Medical-Surgical Ward settings.
\nStrong knowledge of endoscopic procedures, sedation management protocols, and infection prevention practices.
\nExcellent observation, critical thinking, and emergency response skills with the ability to act promptly under pressure.
\nProficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
\nComputer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.<\/p>\n
