Position Summary<\/p>\n
The Resident Medical Officer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care services, managing acute and chronic medical conditions, performing clinical procedures, and supporting preventive healthcare initiatives. Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Clinical Care & Consultation<\/p>\n
Conduct comprehensive outpatient consultations, assessments, and treatments.
\nDiagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
\nPrescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
\nPerform medical procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practices.
\nIndependently perform antenatal ultrasound scans and provide prenatal care support.<\/p>\n
Patient Education & Counseling<\/p>\n
Deliver professional medical advice and health counseling to patients.
\nPromote preventive healthcare, wellness, and healthy lifestyle practices.
\nSupport patients in understanding their medical conditions and treatment options.<\/p>\n
Clinical Operations<\/p>\n
Participate in rostered clinic shifts and ensure efficient patient flow.
\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care.
\nMaintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Quality & Professional Development<\/p>\n
Uphold clinical governance, patient safety, and ethical medical standards.
\nStay updated with current medical advancements and clinical best practices.

\nQualifications
\nRegistered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
\nPossess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
\nDemonstrated ability to perform antenatal ultrasound scans independently.
\nENT clinical experience or procedural skills will be considered an added advantage.
\nStrong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
