We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and professional Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care while ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and compliance with hospital standards. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional nursing care across various clinical disciplines.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nDeliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards and hospital policies.
\nAssess patients’ conditions and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
\nMonitor, record, and report patients’ vital signs and clinical progress, escalating abnormalities to the attending physician promptly.
\nAdminister medications safely and accurately following prescribed treatment plans and hospital protocols.
\nAssist physicians during ward rounds, examinations, and clinical procedures.
\nCollect and accurately label patient specimens for laboratory investigations.
\nPerform wound care and dressing procedures using strict aseptic techniques.
\nEnsure all medical orders are completed within the assigned shift.
\nPromote patient comfort, dignity, privacy, and cultural sensitivity at all times.
\nMaintain patient safety by identifying and minimizing potential risks.
\nMonitor emergency equipment, controlled medications, and essential clinical supplies each shift.
\nMaintain accurate nursing documentation and ensure appropriate recording of medications, consumables, and medical supplies.
\nParticipate in inventory management of clinical equipment and surgical instruments.
\nReport incidents promptly according to hospital policies.
\nSupport professional development through continuous learning and training.
\nAssist with mortuary services in accordance with regulatory, ethical, and hospital requirements.
\nPerform other duties assigned by the Nursing Manager or Supervisor.<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nRegistered Nurse with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC).
\nMinimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
\nPost-basic nursing certification is an added advantage.
\nStrong knowledge of medical, surgical, orthopedic, or pediatric nursing care.
\nGood clinical assessment and analytical skills.
\nExcellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
\nCompassionate, caring, and patient-focused personality.
\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail.
\nAbility to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
