As a primary care physician, you will provide comprehensive medical services, diagnose and manage a wide range of health conditions, and deliver patient-centred care to individuals and families. Key Responsibilities
\nConduct comprehensive patient consultations, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
\nDiagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical practices.
\nPrescribe medications and develop personalized treatment and follow-up plans.
\nProvide preventive healthcare services, including health screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle counselling.
\nRefer patients to specialists or secondary healthcare providers when appropriate and coordinate ongoing patient care.
\nMonitor patient progress through follow-up consultations and adjust treatment plans as needed.
\nMaintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
\nParticipate in community health education and public health promotion initiatives.
\nStay up to date with current medical guidelines through continuous professional development.
\nCollaborate effectively with nurses, administrative staff, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
\nUphold the highest standards of medical ethics, professionalism, and patient safety.<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nMBBS, MD, or an equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
\nValid registration with the Malaysia Medical Council (MMC) and a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
\nMinimum 3 years of experience in general practice or a primary healthcare setting.
\nStrong clinical knowledge and excellent diagnostic and patient management skills.
\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
\nProficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation.
\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
\nKnowledge of occupational health and minor medical procedures is an added advantage.
\nFluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.<\/p>\n
