Genesis Life Care is a leading residential aged-care provider in Malaysia, operating government-approved (JKM) care centres across the Klang Valley and Johor Bahru. We are looking for a dedicated Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our growing team in Kajang and Klang.<\/p>\n
This is an excellent opportunity for a doctor who enjoys providing continuous, hands-on medical care to elderly residents in a supportive environment, with predictable working hours and no overnight on-call duties.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nConduct medical assessments and develop care plans for new and existing residents.
\nConduct regular ward rounds and monitor residents’ health conditions.
\nDiagnose and manage medical conditions, including wound care.
\nPrescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans.
\nReview laboratory and investigation results.
\nArrange specialist referrals and coordinate follow-up care when required.
\nProvide lifestyle and health guidance to residents and their families.
\nMentor and provide clinical guidance to nursing and care staff.
\nConduct bedside teaching and support staff training.
\nAct as a trusted medical point of contact for residents and their families.
\nMaintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with medical protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nMBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification from a recognised institution.
\nRegistered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
\nMust hold a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
\nMinimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
\nStrong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
\nAble to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
\nPassionate about providing quality care to elderly residents.
\nWilling to work at Kajang or Klang, Klang Valley.
\nAbility to communicate in Mandarin and\/or local dialects is an added advantage.<\/p>\n
