In addition to comprehensive general family medicine, we are a recognized regional provider in sexual health &amp; LGBTQ+ care, express STI\/HIV PCR diagnostics, non-invasive pain therapies (ESWT), dermatological micro-procedures (Swift Microwave Therapy), non-surgical proctology, and lifestyle\/addiction medicine.<\/p>\n<p>Role Overview<br \/>\nWe are seeking a compassionate, forward-thinking, and patient-focused General Practitioner \/ Medical Officer to join our dynamic clinical team. You will handle primary outpatient care, manage acute and chronic conditions, perform minor clinical procedures, and provide empathetic, non-judgmental consultations for sexual health and wellness services.<\/p>\n<p>Mandatory Requirements<br \/>\nFull Registration with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)<\/p>\n<p>Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<br \/>\nOutpatient &amp; Primary Care: Conduct thorough clinical consultations, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic diseases across all age groups.<\/p>\n<p>Specialized Sexual Health &amp; Infectious Disease Care: Provide confidential screening, counseling, diagnosis, and management for STIs\/STDs, HIV (including PrEP\/PEP protocols), and hepatitis.<\/p>\n<p>Clinical Procedures: Perform outpatient procedures including wound care, minor excisions, cryotherapy, non-surgical hemorrhoid banding, Swift microwave therapy, and ESWT pain therapy (on-the-job training provided).<\/p>\n<p>Preventive &amp; Lifestyle Medicine: Lead consultations for medical weight loss management, addiction recovery support (smoking\/alcohol\/substance cessation), and health screenings.<\/p>\n<p>Patient Advocacy &amp; Safety: Maintain precise digital medical records, ensure strict patient confidentiality, and foster an inclusive, stigma-free environment.<\/p>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications &amp; Attributes<br \/>\nMinimum 2\u20133 years of clinical experience in hospital departments or primary care clinics.<\/p>\n<p>Interest or experience in sexual health, dermatology, or non-invasive clinical procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Excellent communication skills with an empathetic, respectful, and non-judgmental approach to patient care.<\/p>\n<p>Professional fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional language proficiency is an advantage).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":19372,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","job_listing_type":[66],"job_listing_category":[],"job_listing_location":[395],"job_listing_tag":[],"job_listing_employer_type":[],"job_listing_specialization":[157],"class_list":["post-34514","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","hentry","job_listing_type-full-time","job_listing_location-johor","job_listing_specialization-gp"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v24.1 (Yoast SEO v24.1) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>General Practitioner \/ Medical Officer | Doctor Jobs Today - Malaysia<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Looking for a fulfilling healthcare role?
